SAP Ariba simply explained

SAP Ariba is a complete modular solution in the cloud for procurement. It includes strategic and operational functions for procurement and the invoicing process. In addition, the integrated Ariba Business Network provides a global business network between buyers and suppliers. When selecting and implementing modules, it is important to know which process is to be mapped and which functions are required. The connection to the respective backend system (e.g. SAP ERP or S/4HANA) is important for this.

5. SAP CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway)

- SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway is an integration-as-a-service (IaaS) solution provided by the SAP Cloud Platform Integration Service.
- It provides a way to integrate with a simple three-step process (Configure, Extend, Test).
- SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway supports the integration of multiple SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA systems.
